Pharmaceutical/Hospital Equipment Procurement Officer


We are looking to hire an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at St. Catherine’s Hospital.


We are committed to delivering quality healthcare and are seeking professionals who are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about ensuring the timely and cost-effective purchase of medications and pharmaceutical products.


Key Responsibilities: 


Source and procure pharmaceutical products through importation and local suppliers.


Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.


Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.


Forecast demand for pharmaceutical products and develop strategies to meet this demand.


Coordinate with regulatory bodies to resolve any compliance issues.


Work closely with other departments (e.g., laboratory, diagnostics, dental, nursing etc) to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.


Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, diploma as a Pharmacy Technician or a related field


Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a procurement role (preferably in a healthcare setting)


Strong negotiation, documentation, and vendor management skills


Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software


Excellent organizational and communication abilities


Integrity, accountability, and attention to detail


Salary Range:

₦130,000 – ₦150,000 per month
